Charlene’s Project “2020 VISION” Update
Imagine not having the opportunity to go to school beyond P7? Our 2020 VISION is of a local secondary school for the 6,500 children who attend
Charlene Secondary School• Pupil numbers increased to well over 500• Additional 4 Classroom Block completed• Second Girls Dormitory completed• Second Boys Dormitory commenced• Teacher latrines and additional girls latrines completed•
Over the last 18 months researchers from Queens University Belfast have been back and forth to Uganda completing a formative evaluation of Charlene’s Project using a Theory of Change approach.
Charlene Secondary is now into its second full year of opening and has close to 600 pupils from Senior 1 to Senior 6, all the way up to A Level.
