Back in 2009, Charlene Barr raised funds to build a school in Uganda as she was dying.
Her legacy remains and continues to grow.
As we approach the significant milestone of the 10th anniversary of her death in 2020 and to celebrate her life and courage, we have set a bold and ambitious target for the project she established.
Imagine not having the opportunity to go to school beyond Primary 7?
Our 2020 VISION is to build a local secondary school for the 6,500 children who attend Kahara, Kirwala, Bunyama, Runyanya, Kothongola, Diika, Nyinga and St Livingstone Primary Schools in western Uganda.
This short video tells the story.
Join us in making it happen.
