From developing a close friendship with Charlene through her illness, she was asked to become a Trustee in the charity Charlene was hoping to start. Audrey is a Primary School teacher from Waringstown who got to know the Barrs as one by one, they attended her school. From developing a close friendship with Charlene through her illness, she was asked to become a Trustee in the charity Charlene was hoping to start. She would freely admit to having big doubts about it all. These soon diminished though…In 2009 I had only been a Christian for two years. As the amazing works and generous nature of the NI people, who took Charlene’s Project to their hearts, became more apparent, my faith and trust grew stronger that this really was God at work.
