At the end of 2018, there was a record high 70.8 million people forcibly displaced worldwide with one new person becoming displaced every 2 seconds. Syrians are the largest forcibly displaced population with more than half of their population fleeing seeking safety, thus forcing them into a life of poverty and exile. In Jordan 93% of refugees live below the poverty line (UNHCR).

Tom Thompson from our Partner World Help, shares with us the difference Charlene's Project is making in Jordan. All made possible because of donations and support you generously give.
Alongside our partners World Help, Charlene’s Project is supporting two schools with small groups of Syrian refugees in Jordan and Turkey. These individuals have been displaced from their homes putting a halt on their education thus changing the direction of their lives and their future. We want to enable these individuals to continue to learn despite being forced from their homes.
