in 2009 Charlene raised money to build a school in Uganda. She lived to see the first sod of ground dug, before she passed away from Cystic Fibrosis.
Her legacy remains and continues to grow.
2020 was the 10th anniversary of her death and to celebrate her life and courage, we set a bold and ambitious target for the project she established.
Imagine not having the opportunity to go to school beyond Primary 7?
Our 2020 VISION is to build a local secondary school for the 6,500 children who attend Kahara, Kirwala, Bunyama, Runyanya, Kothongola, Diika, Nyinga and St Livingstone Primary Schools in western Uganda.
Our fundraising continues into 2021 and beyond.
This short video tells the story.
