Charlenes Project has won the 2009 BT Seen and Heard award for using communication skills to achieve positive change.

Congratulations! It gives me great pleasure to inform you that your project - ‘Charlene’s Project’ has been chosen as one of the winners for the BT Seen and Heard Awards 2009." At a special event at Westminster David, Charlene's brother recently picked up the award on her behalf - Charlene being too unwell to attend herself. Charlene's story will be told in the annual BT Seen and Heard Report — a publication that is sent to every MP and Peer in the UK, and is available online for people all around the world to read. The BT Seen and Heard Awards are a partnership between BT and UK Youth Parliament.
